Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha, where you will meet your professional safari guide and depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After entering Serengeti National Park, your first game drive begins. The Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and abundant wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and numerous bird species.

Depending on your arrival time and wildlife activity, you will continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set out for a full-day Serengeti game drive. This is your opportunity to explore deeper into the park and discover its diverse ecosystems.

Your experienced guide will help you locate wildlife and understand the behavior of the animals and the Serengeti ecosystem. The park is home to huge populations of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.

Depending on the time of year and your safari route, you may also encounter areas associated with the Great Migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive through the afternoon. As the sun begins to set, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Wake early and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater, descend approximately 600 metres into the crater floor for an exciting game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see a concentration of wildlife within a relatively small area. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the crater before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your 3-Day Classic Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari.
